Sonic Parkour is a research centered in people`s relationship with the territory throught sound. This common thread of thinking, analysis and creativity will focus on the city, understood as an urban territory, a complex space in constant transformation due to social, political and economic factors, and traversed by numerous agents with their respective interests and agendas, which sometimes converge but diverge on other
occasions. The aim with these meditations is to encourage the development of creative and research processes which, anchored in the urban tissue of the hosting cities, address the city from the stance of historical, social and multicultural questions and in short, issues of global relevance.
what`s proposed with this project is showing diffent possibilities of re-interpreting the city from listening, re-thinking the public space from its sounds and, in definitive, exploring other ways of knowing and feeling the city

A CONCERT FOR PIANO AND URBAN SOUNDS is the stage version of SONIC PARKOUR project, a research centered in people's relationship with the territory through sound. In this AUDIOVISUAL PIANO CONCERT, with video and cameras remixed in real time by filmmaker and media artist Roi Fernández, Nacho Muñoz proposes series of piano pieces created from field recordings of images and sounds captured from different cities of Europe, transforming the everyday sounds of the streets in beautiful and original music.
